A synthetic heptapeptide analogue of the endogenous immunomodulatory tetrapeptide tuftsin (Thr-Lys-Pro-Arg), extended with a Gly-Glu-Pro-Arg sequence to confer proteolytic stability. Investigated in preclinical models for interactions with the GABAergic system, modulation of IL-6, IL-1β, and TNF-α expression, and enkephalin degradation inhibition.
